Background Information

Old Dominion University is a liberal arts college located in Norfolk, VA.  Our university offers a large number undergraduate degrees including health sciences, chemistry, biology, engineering, computer sciences, e-business, education, music, political science, and many more.   For more specific information about Old Dominion, click on www.odu.edu.  

Our Swimming and Diving team competes at the NCAA, Division I level.  We are a member of the CAA (Colonial Athletic Association) and compete mostly against schools from Virginia, North Carolina, and Maryland.  Over the past seven years, our dive team has ranged in number from 5 to 10 members.  The year 2004-2005  will see some new faces (Haley Glennon, NJ, Rachelle Hendricks, Ches. VA, Stephanie Budz, Rich. VA, Nici Shirey, VaBeach VA, and Jon Panettieri, Harrington Park NJ) but the core of the team from 2003-2004 will return (Tommy Dingus, Noah Scully, and Nick Tschohl).  We are looking forward to another successful year on the boards!!
